I got to the glass bead blasting of the YJ booster mounting bracket then primed the Vette master cylinder and the bracket. You can see the difference in size between the Vette master and the E350 cargo van master cylinder. The E350 reservoir interferes with the hood by at least 1 inch.
edit- not primed in these photos yet... duh
I would rather use the new E350 master and I suppose the best option is to find another shorter reservoir that could replace the tall one...
Rebelracing checked for me and they both have 1 1/8 bores so the Vette should be ok. The Vette reservoir is actually quite large so maybe I won't stew much longer about not using the E30 master- and think- it cost me a whole $14 and free shipping for the little experiment.
The plastic sleeve on the YJ that keeps the works clean in the span from the firewall to the booster fits perfectly on the new booster, too, so I'll use it to seal the firewall up.
