Jim,

That's Great! Love the OD Green.

We're getting blasted with wet weather here in Nor Cal. So, keep painting...

Thanks Steve! Our nice weather is about to leave, next week sometime. Maybe I can get the rest of the tub done before then.

Jim,

The paint looks great!

I bet that custom tub rotisserie you made has been a Godsend for this stage of the restoration.

Can't wait to see it go back together.

Jim, very nice!

Wasn't the left over paint supposed to go on the garage doors?

Sure looks a lot different than when I saw it a few weeks ago. Looks great Jim!

Spraying the Raptor is fun and gratifying too. Can't wait to see it.

Thanks Bill. I'd have to get them away from Mike someway and I think he's kinda attached to them.

Thanks Matt. That rotiserrie made allot of things easier. I sanded the entire interior of the tub yesterday getting it ready for the liner and didn't have to lean over the side or climb into it at all. Just turned it up vertical and was able to reach it all. Yep I'm glad I made it.

Thanks Eric! It would have gotten on there if I'd have closed the door.

Thanks Paul. Some of my motivation is from wanting to get it out of the way in the shop! And being blessed with this great weather and knowing it won't hold out much longer.

Thanks Mike. It was still pretty rough when you were here. I can still tell where Some of the work was done but the brush and tree limbs and other stuff will make it all blend great. Hope to get the raptor on this week. I'd have done it yesterday but it was too humid and I was afraid the masking tape might damage the fresh paint too.

Thanks! I still have another full gallon of the OD so it's hard to tell just what else will end up that color.

Looking good Jim I always thought you were in IL, didn't realize your where in MO. Do you have to Wetsand & buff that type of paint too or its final once you lay it on? I'm jealous of the weather your having there too

Hey Jim,
Called you a couple of times this week, but can't remember if you are 7, 8 or 9 hours behind, so probably ringing you at 6.00 or 7.00 in the morning. No excuse, you should be up and AT ARMS beside the lovely OD GREEN Jeep. TEN SHUN. Stand easy my friend. Good job and a great colour. Hope you got some elk. Talk soon..

Thanks Rob. Nope, I've lived in Missouri all my life. I guess it could be buffed or wetsanded but I'm not going to since I want the dull look from the OD paint. I've never done a 2 stage paint job but this stuff sure seems easy compared to all the work some on here have put into painting theirs. Oh the weather.....it's 75 here today!

My time is 6 hours behind yours Paul. Sorry I missed your calls, I always enjoy your calls! At ARMS, well if you ever get to my shop I'm sure you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the info on picking the color too Paul. Getting a first hand account of using this was what sold me on it.
