Thanks for the comments guys. Work and my aching back has been getting in the way of Jeep progress. Got the hot jobs for customers taken care of and the back is feeling allot better so now maybe I can move forward.
One holdup has been waiting for Daystar to ship my spring shackles bushing order. I ran out and didn't order anymore soon enough and they usually have a 4 week wait on them. Hurts the shackle sales too but as soon as I get my information together I'm building an injection mold to make my own bushings. That will save quite a bit on my price for them and I can have them much sooner.
Today I did take the frame off my rotisserie and set it on jack stands. I bolted the shackle hangers, engine mounts, crossmember and engine skid plate on. Next I'll get the rear axle in place. Need to do a bit of painting on it first.
Here's where things are as of today. I plan to leave the skid plates the way they are since paint is just going to get scratched off with use.

Thanks Shaun. My back has been improving after going to 3 different doctors. All of them helped but in the end I think God is the best doctor a person can have!

Sooo... that's a nice shiney skidplate... gonna clear-coat that baby?
Bling, Jim. Think bling! Go cruzin'. Roll up beside one of those little tykes in their Hondas, turn on your under-body neon... just imagine!

Thanks Moc It would have been kinda odd if it were shiny. The skids plates aren't hard to make but they'd almost have to be sold with the crossmember too but that's not hard either. Kinda make a generic skid that allows folks to use it for whatever application they need?
