jeeps been down for 3 months, now will not start

been working on this project for a few months now, finally reaching the end, but cann't seem to get this baby to crank. I blew out the fuel line, it's not clogged, changed the fuel pump, starter, alt., spark plugs, and wirers, it sounds as if it wants to turn over, but just won't unless you give it a shot of carb cleaner, then it will start until it burns out in a few seconds. It seems as if it isn't getting any fuel. Just not sure which way to go from here, any suggestions?

If it runs on carb cleaner, you have spark. So, no fuel. Take the gas line loose at the carb, put the end of the line into a water/drink bottle and crank the engine...any fuel? If yes, then the carb is the issue. If no, then it's probably the fuel pump or the pick-up in the tank. I've also had a pinhole in a gas line that made the pump suck air instead of fuel.

Ditto aharlow.

Take a piece of wood and a hammer and tap lightly on the side or top of the carb in a safe place (don't want to break anything). Sometimes this can knock the float loose...
