My battery is charges and all I get is a click when I turn the key. It is an 85 cj7. All my battery terminals are tight. Any ideas? Thanks

If the battery is charged and the all the connections are good. Could be the solenoid. Be sure and check the ground at the block also.

i had the same problem. take a hammer and hit the starter lightly. If it starts then you know you have a bad starter.

Good to hear, now just replace the starter or keep a hammer in the glovebox.
