Jeep Transport Help Needed

I need assistance transporting a Jeep from the Juneau region of Alaska to anywhere in the lower 48 (Ohio preferred)....anyone making an over the road trip down this way anytime soon?

If I wind up going after the Jeep myself, I'll have room for two vehicles on the way out there and room for one vehicle on the way back....

There was no ideal place to post this request, so, I asked the moderators if I could post it in here for awhile to generate assistance asap. Thanks guys!

Wm

Throw it up here:

uShip - The Online Shipping Marketplace - Ship Freight, Furniture, Vehicles or Moves

You'll get the attention of truckers with empty trailers there. I know a lot of people who have had good results using that site to get Jeeps they bought moved across the country.

Just FYI, not that it might help you here, but a narrow-track CJ WILL fit in the back of a U-Haul type moving van. Loading and unloading is a bit of a trick, but it's been done. My CJ-5 made the trip from Missouri to Virginia last year in the back of a Budget rental truck. It was actually cheaper than renting a car to drive cross country.

I haven't received any affordable quotes yet, so, I'm still looking. Any and all suggestions welcomed!

Give this guy a call. He recently hauled a CJ-7 from Wyoming to Wisconsin for me. He has an enclosed double decker and is a great guy. He travels all over the US.

His name is Dave and his cell # is 920-378-1936. Tell him Lance gave you his number.

oh man, a month too late. I just moved from Seattle, WA to Cleveland, OH. I loaded my rig in the penske truck and drove the 2600. Coulda towed yours.

Pirate has a hauling section. I looked at it as an option. Might try posting there.

Maybe tossing out a rough figure of what you're hoping to pay might spark someone's interest?

The ideal situation would be someone already coming this way I could share fuel costs with.
