Jeep top

Hi all. What is the best way to clean and preserve the full top (or what ever you call it) on my jeep. Is there some spray on product that will not harm the material. Also is there any product that will take the scratches out of the clear plastic windows? Thanks.

I usually just wash it with mild soap and water (plenty of water on the windows to help avoid scratching). If I have mud stains, I use a strong cleaner (like Greased Lightning or Super Clean.. available at Autoparts stores). For window scratches, there are a couple of plastic scratch removers/polishes that work well on small scratches. If the scratch is big enough to feel with your finger, you might only have limited success in removing it. For preserving the top, I use a standard vinyl preservative (usually Mothers or Meguires). I try to avoid getting any on the vinyl windows though.
