Anyone notice the 14 minutes between the original post and the this one? I know we are relatively fast here on this forum, but that is pretty quick... LOL.
What kind of shape is it in (rust, dents, etc)? Check on Craigs list in your area for Jeep tubs and see what they are going for. I've seen them around here for anywhere from $200 up to $1000.
By being just the tub, it's considered just like any other CJ tub where lack of rust and dents make it valued.
If it was a complete and original Jamboree, then you would have something. The most important part of a Jamboree CJ is the dash plaque that reads "number XXXX of 2500".
from IL and found a tub for $50????? i have been looking for months for anything half way solid that the guy doesnt want an arm and a leg for and under 10 hrs away. cant find $h** anywhere near here.
All I can tell you is that is one of if not the rarest CJ's to be had. If I owned it, I would'nt be worried about what it was worth, as I would never part with it.
I just heard about these jamborees. I found a guy that has a complete dash that he wants 300 for. I would have to repaint it to make it match my jeep. What is all the hubub???
I have an 82 jamboree, #198. I recently put in a 360 and a t-18. i don,t know what its worth, i,m just driving it until it breaks in two.
