That's pretty cool!
We made a jeep light out of a cj grill that lights up at night over our pole barn door.

Well that's better then an old boom box. The flip side is that if you need a grill you have a spare.

I would imagine you could do the same thing.
I have thought long and hard about Jeep furntiture, but the curvature of some of the parts kind of make it hard to do. I remember a show on the discovery channel or tlc or something that was making furniture out of old airplane parts. I don't know what happened to them, it went off the air, but it was the idea that stuck in my head. A hood could make a table with legs attached, I am sure you can hang it on the wall and make a stereo out of it, you could cut the front half of it off, with a grille, and with the fronts of rotted fenders and make it look like it is coming out of the garage wall like someone crashed into it... many things, just use your imagination. I was thinking like 4 tailgates welded together with legs and a glass top makes for a cool extra room table for snacks and stuff. oh so many ideas and such little time. cb |
