Intermintent Vibration At Higher Speeds?

So just recently when driving at speeds probably around 50-60 I get an intermintent vibration that you can feel through the pedal and tub of the Jeep. It's noticable enough if you paying attention for it, but not enough to notice if you are easily distracted. I'm thinking it could be a couple of things, but throwing this out to the experts to add/subtract from my list.

1) Tire(s) out of balance

or

2) DS U-Joints worn

Thoughts, opinions?

I used to get a vibration in my Chevy V8 powered CJ5 at around 50 mph. Bugged me for years until one day, with the body off the frame, I looked at the rear driveshaft and noticed that the yokes on either end were misaligned. They have to be in the same plane. Evidently, when whoever cut the shaft to fit the Chevy, he put it back together wrong. It just takes slipping the splines apart, realigning them in the correct position, and slipping them back together. It's something you moght look at.
