Installing Glass into hard doors...Help

Finally bought all the door seals for my hard doors and am ready to put the windows in. Just wondering if anyone has done this and put anything on the "toothed thang" that moves the window up and down inside the door, to make it operate smoothly and make less noise. It seems to grind and bind up when the crank is turned. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks

Yep. been there done that. I used white lithium grease on the gear and also the window slide bar. IIRC it is a pita job. Don't tighten the screw in the window too tight, just snug. ask me how I know. Also helps to use spray silcone on the felt seals in the tracks to ease install and up and down motion. Hope this helps. jc

Thanks for the reply, I though some grease might help. I've been putting this off cuz it looks like a PITA but it's starting to get cold. Thanks again
