Idling problems (stock carb)

Hey everyone, I know I know I should change to the mc2100, but I just don't have the cash right now.. when I do, I will believe me.

But anyhow for now, the jeep stalls when I start slowing down, like if I have to take a corner or something.

There are 3 throttle screws and 2 idle screws, the idle screws I have turned out 3 full turns. I believe I read that somewhere.

As far as the throttle screws, I've been tinkering back and forth with them to try and find the problem, but it's just not happening. I do not know how to set them properly, does anyone have any information on how to do so?

Thank you!

May not be the problem BUT, My stock 81CJ was doing the same thing. I brought it to a machanic who did a tune up, changed the distributor cap. jep still did it. I got to looking at it one day and just started pulling vacuum lines.(one at a time) On the back of the carb.(firewall side) there was a line I pulled, vacuum advance or something like that( line goes to distributor) when I pulled it Jeep idled perfect. no more stalls just smooth running. Has more power through all gears. Mechanic says if it runs good leave it plugged off. Let me know if this helps. Or if Im killing my Jeep.
