Here's what I stuck in mine....it cranks way louder than I'll ever listen to it, and I love the auxiliary feature.

Retrosound radio

Infinity Kappa 6x9 rear speaks

Bazooka 5-1/4" front speaks

Rockford 300W ultra-compact 4-way amp (in Tuffy center console)

Check the Total Harmonic Destortion (THD) rating. Most radios are 5% and thats too high (destortion over half volume). Try to fine one under 1%, you'll hear the difference, because driving a noisey topless Jeep the volume is always over half.

Looks good Matt! I'm thinking of mounting my amp in my Tuffy console as well. Which size Tuffy do you have? I have the 10". Would you be able to post a pic of the inside where you mounted the amp? Did you have to make any larger hole to run the RCA, power, ground and speaker wires?

Thanks!

Robert

Robert,

Thanks. I have the 10" Tuffy, as well. As you can see, there's plenty of room for the Rockford amp.

Don't let the small size fool you, however. That little amp packs a punch.

Yes, I drilled an additional hole in the bottom of my Tuffy to run the wires. In hindsight, I should have mounted it farther forward, towards the front, because the controls are a little difficult to get to.

Hope this helps,

Matt

When it's off, it looks like an old dial radio, when it's on it shows an LCD screen. Mine has been cut to a single DIN so this won't work for mine.

It even says "Jeep" on it.
That's the one I have. LOVE it.

Heres an option if you want a marine unit. It looks to be pretty decent and has everything you want.
