I need a new radio in my CJ
The crappy *** Jensen radio that the previous owner had put in, and I had been nursing along has finally kicked the bucket. Hopefully y'all will have some good recommendations for what to put in in its place, AUX compatible is always a plus :) As always, thanks for your time!

Are you using the stock mounting location with the cut-outs? If so, this is the radio I will be getting when I decide to get one. It has the aux jack for stuff like an ipod. Nice feature for sure.

Here is one for you

Sadly I think that the previous owner modified the radio slot, so as amazing as that radio could look, I would probably have to fabricate a new plate or something to make that work. Although, it may be worth it.

@draperjojo that one looks like a winner!

I ordered it to use in my CJ about a month ago(which the PO cut the dash on) and it comes with the trim plate, but I had a locking center console with a 1 DIN cutout in it that wasn't being I ended up using my Kenwood instead. If you're interested let me know, that's my local ad link.

@draperjojo Great! I have to patch the hole in my driver floor pan first ( I've grown tired of fred flintston-ing it) but I will absolutely keep that in mind. Thank you!

This is the same one I have in my Subaru and it works great. Its a cheaper priced stereo but it really works good, and has all the hookups that you want. Also it doesn't light up the cab like others do so it wont blind you at night.

That is the same thing I posted, only the more expensive version. They are both retro sound. If the one I posted isn't going to work, that one won't either.

Is that just the way it came from the company? I like the way it is all black. It looks almost stock, which is nice. I am not a fan of the chrome from retro sound. It looks like, from your add, they give you two face plates, is that true? That would be great.

I went with a kenwood marine radio. Mainly cause in the rain i have a few leaks. Go figure a cj that leaks water in to it. Well i love it the stereo and the jeep

I like these:

When it's off, it looks like an old dial radio, when it's on it shows an LCD screen. Mine has been cut to a single DIN so this won't work for mine.

It even says "Jeep" on it.

I spend $20 on a second hand one and put a plastic canopy above it. Try to keep some rain out but they do not last that long.
