Hydraulic Assist steering?

Any one know some good sites for doing your own assist steering? Is it almost as simple as taping into two parts of the steering box and running lines to a cylinder welded on the axle? I plan on doing this to my xj, sorry for buttin in on your cj forum but you all know alot more than most of those xj people.
