That is definitely a jewel. I'm inspired. I will start restoration on my newly acquired '81 CJ7 within the next month - from the frame up. I hope to learn a lot along the way. Thanks for posting.

holy moly, that is awesome. im a newbie and we just got our first jeep on 8/20! its an 85 cj7 and even though its in pretty bad shape, reading your thread has given me hope! thanks for taking the time to share...awesome, awesome, awesome, now back to reading more about jeeps!

i want to ask you about the rear diff? Is it stock AMC 20 with stock axles added Disc brake conversion? I want to switch to disc brakes to but i am not sure my full floating amc 20 has a kit for it?
