The brakes are done, the rear driveshaft has been installed. All that is remaining is the following:

1. install front drive shaft
2. fluids for front and rear diffs
3. misc fluids

So, it will be driven this week. The end of a 34+ month project. I will be happy to see it end.

Just drove it for the first time down the driveway and back a few times (1500 feet each way). Everything is good... make that great. Now I need to go get the tags today and take my wife for a spin. What a long time coming 34 months plus! Geezuz that 383 is strong!

Let me add, that you guys made this all possible. I was a jeep idiot three years ago. Thanks for all the help, assistance and advice. Will post some 'outside' pics on Tuesday.

I'll just bet it is. Don't be trying to do any wheelies till it's broken in though.

Great build Hutch, enjoy.

Here is one picture, right after this the bottom fell out and it started pouring rain. More pictures later. It is officially done now. I still have to run the air lines for the ARB lockers, but that is a Sunday afternoon project.

Thanks everyone, this has been one of the most rewarding projects of my life. I have never put so much time into anything. At some points I thought I would never finish. The skills I acquired are invaluable.
