Hey all,

I hate to post a "how much is it worth" post but I need some expert opinions. What would you all expect to pay for a 67 CJ-5 that is in good running condition. It has a 225 Dauntless with a 3 spd.

It is all in the eye of the beholder.

It is an early CJ5 so it lacks the later refinements and is quite a rudimentary vehicle. But that is part of its charm.

From the photo it looks very basic, is there anything else that comes with it??

It has been lifted and overtyred so for me it would be a question of how this was carried out and whether the vehicle overall was driveable and sound. It is far easier to start with a mostly stock rust free rig and repaint, retrim, re-engineer than fix a rusty heap.

Bearing in mind it has seen some life and that paint looks non original (and home done) I would have thought 2-3k for a strictly weekend mild trail rig if it was rust free. If it was rusty then scrap prices, 500 - 800.
