Got to head back to work now.
I'll think about this problem when I get your response...

Info sent.

SW gauge - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sww-82342

And it is 10/73ohm. It also is grounded as is the panel and the entire Jeep toa stud.

I need to make a aftermarket sight glass for these tanks and put a video camera on the tank so I can see it

i think my lower left hole as you look down on it was 9" from the outside of the quarter panel and 5" from edge of the bed with the tailgate down. if you want something a little more accurate i can get you measurements when i get home. I put my tuffy box in already but should be able to get you to within a quarter or so.....

That would be sweet-thanks.

Then make a door to latch it. Would be easy to do in the CJ8

i made a patch panel (had to make a little rolled dimple in it to contour the body) sealed it up and rivited mine down. there was a seam at the lower edge that i followed across. just pay attention to what your cutting and how your cutting it.

Thanks, i'll wait for your measurements but a CJ8 might be different, not sure. At least I can use it on Ashley's '80 and Peaches '86

Take a pic if you don't mind please.

Thank you again,
Jim

Get one of those wireless backup cameras and put it 'in' your tank.
