How do you post pictures?!?

Get this, I've tried posting them on my threads, and my profile and they won't go through. I've posted them in my profile and I go back to see if they are there but they're not! Am I just being a dummy or does the computer hate me? Have any of you had this problem uploading you Jeep photos?

In before the move!

Quote:
Only posts in the Technical forum count towards your post count.

In order to cut down on people that come to JeepForum.com and sign up only to post pornography we have put in place a limit on the use of avatars and IMG tags.

The settings have changed multiple times but this is the current setup and probably will remain the setup.

In order to use IMG tags you have to be a member for 30 days and have 50 technical posts. You do not get posts counted towards this in General Discussion, For Sale, Wanted, Registry, or Test forums. This is an automated promotion so as soon as you reach this you are automatically given this privledge.Avatars are now only for donating members and moderators as of 11/07/04 due to misuse. Anyone that could use avatars prior to that was "grandfathered" in and can still use avatars.

Attachment uploading has always been reserved for upgraded members. Custom titles are also only allowed for upgraded members.

If you want to use avatars, upload attachments, use the IMG tags without waiting please visit: JeepForum.com - Announcements in Forum : JeepForum Announcements & Comments

Hope that clears it all up!

Thanks!

Noticed this problem a little while ago. I opened up a photobucket free membership and was able to post them will URL. But now it's letting me post them like normal again.

I've also learned that sometimes... when people don't agree with you .... its best to hold them down and kidney punch them till they agree with you

To resize I usually have to use an image program like Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

To link directly, there is a link given by photobucket that says "direct." Click on that link and it'll copy, then paste it into the pop-up when you click the little mountain/sun image thingie in the reply box. It'll post automatically then.

Give it a try

thanks, i am working on it this weekend. I want to post alot of pics. That is why I did the lifetime membership. I am not the best picture taker to begin with but then when 95% wont post due to size, its a pain.

I am using the test board. Plus I want them coming up in the forum gallery too.
