The shift lever on my New Dynamics transmission snapped just inside the shift tower. I'm not sure the exact model of transmission, because this Jeep is a hand-me-down, and the manual doesn't seem to match the tower. I've taken a few pictures of the top if that helps identify it. The only thing I know is that it's a 4 speed granny gear from New Dynamics, with overdrive on a separate lever.
How would I remove the pin at the top holding the entire assembly in, so I can pull the lever out and look at it? I'm also looking for advice on how to fish the part that broke off out of my transmission if I can do that without dropping the whole thing and tearing it down. Finally, is welding it back together feasible or am I better off buying a whole new shift lever?
I attached a photo of the manual page I have, but it doesn't match up, because the actual assembly has one more fork than the manual.
