How difficult would this be

I am looking at getting a 5.2L 318 out of a 92 dodge dakota. Still has the wiring harness and computer with it. Now i am not really talking about hooking it up to the tranny but i would just like to know how hard this would be to get it running in my jeep? I know that i am going to need new motor mounts but guess i am just a little bit more worried about how i would wire it up.

Thanks,
Ben

Just get a couple wiring harnesses for the donor vehicle, and one for your Jeep. Mainly what would need to be spliced would be key-on power for the ECM, the starting circuit, the gauges, Maybe a speedometer sensor if you use the cruise (and other cruise related wiring). That's all I can think of off the top of my head - never done that exact swap. Just compare the 2 wiring diagrams and see what is needed and what isn't.

I have a '92 Dodge van with a 318 that I've considered for a swap. I'd like to hear more about that too.
