I got the dash in today but I cant seem to get any of the guage lights, blower motor, wipers and fender marker lamps to work. Im using the wiper motor that came on the windshield frame from a yj which uses a 4 wire I think. I have power to the switch. Im thinking i need to ground the blower motor somehow? not sure on the lights on the dash or the marker lights on the fenders. any suggestions

Is the dash grounded? I have a ground wire from a windshield wiper motor mounting bolt down to the dash. It usually grounds thru the mounting hardware to the windshield frame, to the dash, and to the body, but I put a dedicated wire from the motor to the dash ground.

Yea I grounded the dash twice and from the dash to the speedo. I got a great deal on tires but these are not my first choice. They will have to do for now

The tires are 34x10.5x15. I wish they were 12.5 but they will have to do for now.

Looking great. What brand/color paint did you use? That's the color I've been looking for to cover up the crappy blue shade my PO used.

I got the color idea from another member on here, motiv8ya. Since he is on the other side of the country I figured what are the odds you will ever see two cjs in desert bisque? The color made my jeep look flawless.

Hey Vert, can you post a pic of your headlight switch wiring for me either here or on my build thread. I read a post while searching "head light switch wiring" where you said you wired yours without the plug and I wanted to see how that goes. I believe we are using the same painless harness also. The different colored wires have me confused. Thanks
