true, but not in every case. he is probably shifting into 5th based off his speed, not rpms. if he is geared properly for his assumed tire size, then at highway speed he would want to be in 5th.

FYI, here's a link to buy a flux capacitor if that's the route you decide to take.

They also have muffler bearings (if yours are bad), adjustable power bands, 710 caps, blinker fluid. etc. Just about anything you need!

Oh I see what you're saying and it makes sense after the fact that he has a 5 speed clicked in my head.

Hell, My 49 Willys L-Head will do 65 mph. All it took was 750x16 tires to break 55 mph. She was wound up tight before the tires. Now I actually have passed a few cars on the beltway.
