Towed the Jeep home yesterday . Yeah, I replaced the transmission filler tube(it had a giant hole in it and I couldn't get fluid in the tranny) and filled her back up with fluid but no go. I think the tranny is toast. I have reverse, nuetral, and park but all forward gears are gone. The motor is smoking bad so the blowby is sure getting worse.

I now have the Jeep on a concrete slab on the side of my house ready to pull the tranny. Not sure if I'm going to rebuild it or buy an alreadyworking TH350. They are pretty cheap. Motor is going to need a rebuild so I need to see whats up with that. I have many options here. And if I'm pulling the tranny I am pulling that 203 case. It's givin me nothing but headaches so now it's time for a longer driveshaft and a better, stronger, shorter NP205. New crossmember will be mad and everything will be done a little better than how the original owner set it up.

I will try to changed the filter on the tranny but If I get another one out of the scrap yard then I'd rather put it in there than mine. We'll see how things turn out.
