High quality Black Lug Nuts?

Good morning everyone. I am looking for some high quality Black Lug Nuts for my '86 CJ7. I have seen some on eBay, but some feedback there is saying that the quality is bad. I just bought some Pro-Comp 8069s and would like to black out the whole wheel.

Anyone know where I can get some high quality black lugs nuts?

Thank you,

Todd.

Okay, well, I just found some by GORILLA. These look really nice. The Stock Number is 91187BCB. But, should I get the 3/16" or the 3/4"?

Thanks,

Todd.

I ordered these gorilla's from summitracing when I put my new rims and tires on. For the amount of money I spent on all this stuff I figured spending $50 on some extra security would be a good idea.

.. and I blacked mine out as well, it looks great. You just gotta paint the hubs black.

Hi Guys. okay this is what I have went with:

I bought the Gorilla Closed End Black Chromed Lug Nuts from here:
Gorilla 1/2" x 20 Thread Black Lug Nuts Acorn Bulge Seat 3/4" Hex Head

These are the 3/4" drive nuts. 3/4" is the OEM Lugs, so I went with that.

So I had a few choices for locking the wheels. I looked into getting all the nuts to be locking with this setup here from Gorilla:
Gorilla 13/16" Hex Key Included Wheel Locks - Set of 20 Acorn/Tapered Seat, Black 1/2" x 20 Thread

With the above setup, every single Lug nut is a Locking nut. Sounds like a very good idea when you just look at the system quickly. But I decided against this as I read in quite a few places on the net that it is very easy to have a key that matches my key. So not very secure. Plus, if something happened and if for some reason I didn't have the key with me a long way from home, I would have to somehow knock off all the nuts as opposed to just one. So I thought maybe then, I will just go with one lock nut from Gorilla. But because of the same reason above, the key is very easy to get for this, I decided against Gorilla for the locking nut portion of the wheel setup.

So I went with the Black McGard single Lock Nut. Looks very nice with the black, and the key is much more unique than the Gorilla style of Lock nut. See here for that:
McGard wheel locks black 1/2-20

I also have just got the Pro-Comp 8069 Alloy wheels, (15x8). But since the Centre Caps come in Chrome colour, (they are plastic), I painted them black using Semi-Gloss Tremclad paint. Here's link to the Wheels:
Pro Comp Tires & Wheels 8069-5885 - Pro Comp Series 8069 Gloss Black Finish Alloy Wheel for Jeep® Vehicles with 5 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern - Quadratec

I only painted 2 Caps, as I have also just got some new Super-Winch Front Hubs, which I'm not going to paint. I like the Steel Blue colour of these Hubs and I think it will look very cool. I went with the Super-Winch Hubs as opposed to the Warn Hubs, as the Super-Winch hubs have all Steel and the Warn hubs do have some Plastic in them. Plus the Super-Winch Hubs are a lot cheaper. And the Super-Winch Hubs have only 1/4 turn to engage, much easier in the middle of winter when it's freezing out, (I live in Toronto). Here is a link to the Super-Winch Hubs:
Superwinch 400526 - 27 Spline Premium Hubs for 81-86 Jeep® CJ - Quadratec

So, I will post some PICS as soon as everything is installed. But until then, here are some Pics of the whole setup for those who are too lazy to click on the inks for all the parts.

Todd.
