Here's a very worn amc 20 carrier pin (pic)

Btw can anyone direct me to a good quality overhaul kit. There a re a bunch on ebay but I don't want to skimp on Chinese crap

You can buy hardened cross pins designed to work with lunch box lockers, they might be the same exact thing.
Try Spartan lockers or Lock Rite for one

By the looks of the shaft and pin, you may have some slop in the housing. If this is the case, then it will have to be replaced as well.
