Help w/ on Board Air set-up

I have a 77 CJ-7 and I would like to know if a bracket from an AMC Eagle w/ AC and 258 engine will work on the CJ? I would like to use a YORK compressor Any help is appreciated.

It sure will work. I used the exact same thing you're proposing on my 258 CJ. Make sure and pull every bracket including the idler pulley mounted near the power steering pump. Check your existing pulleys before you hit the junkard and note how many grooves each has. I had to make an extra trip to replace a couple pulleys that I forgot about.

My first on board air system was on my 4 cyl. CJ. All the brackets, and york, came off an eagle wagon. It's a direct bolt on, no modifying needed.

Have fun!!
