Help!!! Transmission/transfer case support

I just got my "new" '80 cj7 and am having trouble with it getting stuck going from 3rd to 4th gear. After I had to manually put it back into nuetral a dozen times i decided to pull the t176 transmission for a buddy to look at. When i got under the jeep some idiot who had it before me had welded on (awefully poorly) the plate under the transfer case and tranny. My guess is the bolt holes didnt line up and instead of doing it right he just made it work? does anyone know where i can get a replacement (new or used) or am i going to have to try and fix this one? I have a t176 with a dana 300. Please help!!!

Try a bone yard or you could fix the one you have. Watch for stress cracks, there not the strongest things.
