Help......throttle sticking.......not returning

So I have isolated the problem to the throttle bracket. Does anyone know if I'm missing a spring? The carb returns just fine when the linkage is disconnected, so I think I may be missing a spring but its not obvious because I don't remember seeing one before. Anybody see a problem here?

Wes, that looks like the transmission kick down connection (I don't have a 999 auto) so I'm guessing. Post a picture of the carb linkage, on the carb. That's were the spring will be. You might just need to lube all the pivot points.

Here she is. The spring is here and when the linkage rod from the other pic is disconnected the throttle on the carb returns as it should. So maybe that throttle bracket is my prob?

Well, I took the kickdown bracket apart. The swing part of the bracket swang freely so I put it back together and it worked fine. Must have been some mud, dirt, or fishing line hung up in there, idk, but its free now.
