Hey guys, I am not new to the website but I am new to its membership. I finally found my jeep its a 1979 cj5 304 3 speed. I got the jeep for the right price because the wheel came off while I was test driving it. But! with a couple hundred in new rear axles/bearings/axle hubs I got my baby on the road! It has been great this past month but I live in southern Ohio and it is starting to get cold here so I am in desperate need of a soft top and hardware. I just wanted to make a post asking for any help from you guys I just can't pay the 800.00 for a brand new top right now when I only got the jeep of 600.00 lmao!! but on the same hand I am by no means asking anyone to give anything away, I am just looking for something to get me through the winter for a somewhat affordable price! Please contact me by PM thanks: Nank

Yea, look into Craigslist and EBay... But I'll tell you that you will better off just buying the new top from Bestop right off the bat. Save your self some money and headaches instead of trying to get one piece meal used, I wasted more money that way. And if you buy a new one get the one with the two-piece doors.
85' CJ7, 258 I6, "Team Rush" Weber 38/MSD 6A, T-176 4-speed, twin-stick Dana 300, DANA 30 fore - AMC 20 aft with stock 2.73 gears, 31" tires, 8k winch, "Dirtworx" rear bumper/tire carrier. My Daily Drive, JustEmptyEveryPocket
Thanks for the comments, the next question I would have then is if I do save some money and purchase a new one, does it come with all the mounting hardware needed? such as the frame and bows? and I am located in southern Ohio Dupont, close to the huntington/ashland area.
