Need helpidentifying the axles and transfer case. Frankenjeep has Chevy 4.3l 262 V6, Chevy 3sp Hydramatic trans, Ford brake booster, and Ford steering wheel.

Dana 44 rear axle
Front could be a Dana 27 (closed knuckle) or Dana 30 (open knuckle)

awesome thanks. Any ideas on the transfer case anyone

Transfer case is the QuadraTrac t-case. Tons of good info on it here: http://jubileejeeps.org/quadratrac/index.htm

That is one heck of a Frankenjeep thinking about it, because the Quadratrac was only available in CJ7s from 1976 to 1979 behind the TH400. (FSJs as well predating 1976)... That must be a pretty short rear drive shaft!!

Very short rear shaft. Just over 12". Thanks for the info. Now I know why I'm dealing with.
