help---cj5 64

Hey guys its I'm new to this. I am in the market work a project jeep and my new boss told .e he has a 1964 cj5 for sale didn't name a price all he said was he is vary flexible with it...
I went and looked at it at the garage he was keeping it one of the workers told me it ran a few years ago I believe its been sitting since 08 there was a plate on the passenger set reg in 08 but I do not now what I'm looking at I don't mind do the work I just have no idea what to offer him or what its valued at
I did take some pic.s not the greatest but I'll add them once I find out how
Let me now what you guys think

Looks like it has not been hacked up. If your boss has the title for the jeep, and you don't have to go through the bonded or abandoned title process, I would start the negotiation around $1500 and see if his face turns red. After all, he knows how much you make...
In AZ, here in the desert, rust free tubs and frames are common, so the value may be a lower than your neck of the woods. The definition of a good deal is when both parties walk away happy. Happy haggling and God bless.

Don't know the going prices for cj's in your area, but I suspect that you would make that money back if you parted it out and more. Do a search on Craigslist in your area or one of the larger cities near you. See what the market is bringing, I'm sure your boss will do the same. If you think that $1500 is too high an opener, you can always say $800, and see where he goes from there. If that cj were running I'm sure it would fetch a minimum of $2500 or more,because it hasn't been butchered up. God bless.

dont you got any picture of the whole jeep, the first picture is alway the whole jeep from a distance. I dont know what i,m looking at, going have to print them out and glue into one picture

And sorry I don't there was some crap in the way couldn't really get a clean pic but I will try n take one this week
