Heater power

Good morning all! Heater question, the po left the heater power wire through the firewall just wrapped around the grill support rod taped. My question is where is this wire suppose to be wired to? Is it on the right side of the firewall or is it suppose to be wired to something on the inside of the cab? You really have to love what some people do to these jeeps

There should be one male electrical connection on the blower motor on the engine side of the firewall. It's possible that the tab broke off and the PO didn't feel like pulling everything off to fix it.

Ok, this is the actual wire that needs to be wired to a 12v power source. It comes from inside the cab, the wires on the blower motor are still connected

The motor is connected on the engine side of the firewall

The inside connection is for the resistors that reduce the motor speed.
