Headlight upgrade question

Hey all, I know this topic is is beat to death in search, which is how I found these two links.

http://www.quadratec.com/products/97009_110.htm

http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/ADS...-Relay/532243/

Will I be all set by installing both these? Do I need anything else? Can't tell if switches come with either one. If not, what's the best switch that will not blow.
Thx all.

With the relays very little amperage will be going through the switch. That's the whole idea behind relays. You have little voltage drop between the power source and the lights and your switch is exposed to less power going through it.

If you don't mind spending a little money, contact either Daniel Stern Lighting, or Susquehanna MotorSports. They will both spend an hour on the phone with you giving you any and all information you need, and they can set you up with a proven "recipe" for upgrading your headlights. I went to Daniel Stern for my '74 CJ and Susquehanna for my TJ. Oddly enough, the harness I got from Stern came from the other, so I think that he contracts out to them to make the harnesses. Anyhow, the experience was quick, educational, and the results speak for themselves (TJ....CJ still being re-assembled). The stuff wasn't cheap, but they both went out of their way to give me the most bang for the buck. For example, for my CJ, I ordered the Cibie reflectors, which are quite a bit more expensive than the Hellla, IPF, etc. That was my choice, not theirs....they gave me plenty of options. The quality of the harness is superb, and their service was also fantastic!
