Headlight conversion recommendations
Has anyone tried a headlight conversion such as the Hella or similar? I have stock lamps in my CJ now and since I wadded up beyond repair, my Honda Rideline, I am gonna go a while without a vehicle payment and make the CJ a daily driver. There is a world of difference in illumination of the roadway!!!! LOL. Wanted to see if anyone had any input regarding one of these aftermarket set-ups. Thanks.

JP Magazine tested a bunch of headlights a while back. The Hella Vision Plus scored high in brightness, pattern, and ease of installation. The only "downside" was that they looked boring. I only care about seeing where I,m going, so I,m going to give them a try.

This thread has the complete Jeep Hammer headlight conversion writeup... I went with SilverStars and have noticed a massive difference! I also ordered some heavy duty headlight connectors from JC Whitney in addition to what he put on there... About $100 in all with relays, breakers, and wiring...And worth every penny!

Thanks guys. I am scared to death of electrical work. I have proved to be an idiot over and over again with even basic stuff. I like the idea of just dropping in the new Sylvania's and others and I may get my nerve up and try upgrading the wire stuff. I love this site, I guess because of all the knowledgeable people who post and answer "idiot" questions.

I did alot of research on different H4s before buying mine and ended up getting the Hella E-Codes. I would highly recommend them and would get the same ones for any sealed beam headlight vehicle I might have in the future.

Just saw a write up in 4 Wheel & Off Road magazine about the Deltas. They supposedly outperform stock headlamps x 4. I don't know anything else about them other than what was written but here's their website:
