Header Question

I'm wanting to upgrade my exhaust for my '78 CJ7 with 258 and havent found too many options for headers for that specific year. Will any Inline 6 jeep header work? I really like the Doug Thorley 634Y but its labled as a 91- up cherokee manifold and I've read some places stating that its used in all 6cyl jeep applications. I was originally looking at the hedman 6 to 1 header but read many fitment issues with those.

I have the Borla header on my 82 CJ7 with the 258.....perhaps that will work.

the 91 head is different and will not fit the headers. I actually have a set of brand new, never mounted Blackjacks in a box for 76 to 86 258ci, the have been in the barn for 10 years, a little surface rust from sitting, but same box and all the parts. PM if you are interested.

85' CJ7 Laredo, 383 GM, Turbo 350, NP 203. SOA, 2" frame lift, 34" TSL swampers, Dana 30 open, AMC 20 w/ detroit locker, 4:10's, 1 Piece Mosers, 35" boggers to abuse when needed.

I think I have it taken care of. If it falls through I'll send you a PM about your headers.
