I've got it all cleaned up and ready to go. The only thing that concerns me right now is the TSM only mentions one ball. I've got too many balls!

It's all fun and games until someone winds up with an extra bigger ball!

Got the rebuild kit. Even more nervous now, cause there wasn't that many parts that came out of the carb, and I got no instructions with it!

The kits come with extras due to minor variations in ports etc for the gaskets. I have a set of instructions I can scan in someplace around here...

Here are some from carburetor-parts.com
http://c803310.r10.cf2.rackcdn.com/b...tor_manual.pdf

And another: instruction sheet

I've also got the instruction sheet that came with my kit from NAPA. If you want that one I can email it to you. (send me an email address in a PM)

That's a lot of balls

I hope you've got a mic to figure out which ones match your model. Did your carburetor still have the model tag on it?

Matt,

The large check ball is for the intake side, the small one is for the discharge.

Here are my instruction sheets, at reduced resolution to fit on the forum. I am assuming yours is newer with the stepper motor. That diagram is on the second page.

Looking good Matt, you will get the carb together no problem. It sure did look gunky! Nice weather this weekend for working on it at least.

Like this? Looks like that's where it goes according to the exploded view.

Yup, though it's hard to say if the correct sizes are there by the photo - those are the correct locations.

Well, the little ball is back where it came from, so it must be correct. Going to start putting it back together soon, just gotta finish up a few house chores first!
