Yeah, the wheel well sections are going to take some tweaking, but I think I can make it work. Think I might get some velcro to hold it in. Thanks!

And some more of my favorite part, wiring. Kicking around some ideas for a new mounting location for my custom rocker switches too.

Just noticed it and I love it. I would like to add one to my rig (especially to scare my wife since all she does is complain while riding in it).....

Haha, that's why it's there! My new seats have power lumbar, and I might wire it into that switch so whoever is sitting there feels the seat start to move when the switch is flipped

Finally today, I sucked up my pride, and cut apart my motor mount that I screwed up almost two months ago now. Didn't bother mocking it up with the header in place, and turned out, it was in the way. So I've had the motor propped up with a 2x4 ever since. Only took two hours to fab up one that fits! Here's what I came up with.

Now I'm just waiting for the paint to dry before I can install it, and put an end to my motor mount saga once and for all!

Finally done! Now I can move on to the next project, once I decide what that will be....too many to pick from yet!

Turned out nice.
Although it should have, you've had enough practice.........

I have been thinking on building a set also. They look to be the bees knees. Even when the bushing do eventually wear out, the motor can't go anywhere, unlike the stock mounts.
Maybe a future project.

I was spinning around in circles today trying to figure out what project to tackle next. I may buy a dry erase board and hang it in the garage. I think I would get a lot of use out of it.

Practice make perfect...right?

And screw the dry erase board, I don't want to be reminded of everything else I have to do! Even though the list IS getting shorter.

I started today by trying to bring my dash back to life, and make a new spot for my radio and rocker switches. Unfortunately, It's in the scrap pile now, and a new dash is on its way now.

Thanks alot!

My new dash is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I ordered one without the radio cutout because I'm determined to do something custom because I don't really want my rocker switches to hang down below the dash all by themselves. I'd really like to incorporate them into the dash somehow to make them look like they belong there. I've looked at all the custom dashes done by Double D Fabrication, and have some ideas. If anyone did something custom with rocker switches, lets see it!

Also, I got a full weekend coming up to play in the garage, so the list of projects to go on my dry erase board (if I had one), for this weekend are: Get the dash fabbed, painted, and installed, fuel lines all hooked up, last 3 body mounts bolted in, steering column hooked up, and some wiring.
