I have to smile. That is very creative. Makes me think you should be wearing a coulee hat!

Not sure what a coulee hat is, but I'll take that as a compliment...

Now the fun begins, trying to get all the bolt holes to line up. So far, the 2 front ones closest to the engine seem to be about a half inch too close to each other.

One thing I was worried about was the infamous Jeep lean. The old Jeep has a severe case of it, but now she seems to be sitting nice and level!

Looks good! Got the hard part done now.

The lean on the old frame was probably due to the rear sections added on. They weren't even close to being level.

Yeah, that probably would do it! So far, I'm really digging the new stance she has. A little less lift, wider axles, wider wheels, and best of all, she sits level! Now the decision to start over on my build finally seems worth it!

What's really nice is doing any work to it in the future. You built it how you want it to be, all of the hardware is new, and you know it inside and out.
No more dealing with the PO's jury rigs.

Chinese Coulee... they would have a shaft across their shoulder with buckets of water (or something) hanging from both ends of the shaft, carrying the weight across their shoulders. Their hats were big, round, and pointy!

More compliment for your ingenuity, and certainly no insult. It was the picture I got, and it made me smile!

I got ya now! That's how we carried the front of the tub, 2x4 over the shoulders. Couldn't just grab it at the bottom and walk around the rear tires without killing our backs, especially my fragile vertebra!

Tonight, I think I'll pull the dash, and maybe the windshield so I can start prepping the tub for the Malibu Sunset Metallic Orange paint.

Actually, I am still dealing with jury rigs on the tub, the only difference is the PO's jury rigs were all me!

Be careful with that back. I have three herniated disks and have been on the verge of surgery a couple of times myself. As long as the steroids fix it up, and I use my inversion table, I hope to keep putting it off.
I just need to know my limitations, which isn't always easy.

I got 2 completely blown disks, and I don't always remember my limitations until it's too late! If I'm not working on the Jeep on the weekends, I'm at camp building something, and I tend to over-do it every time!
