Went back out to do some more body work this morning, but ran out of welding wire, so I decided to switch gears and start dropping the suspension out in preparation for my lift kit which will be here on Wednesday. So I got the jeep up on jack stands, and cut into the rear crossmember to spray some penetrating oil on the bolts holding the shackle mounts on. I have a new crossmember to go in also, so I'll tackle that now too. 3 out of 4 bolts came right out, and the bolt that snapped, that nutsert popped out when I was banging on it! I'm still amazed at how good of shape the frame is in here! Below, you can see how much dirt I got out of the inside of the frame!
