That's not the Medix Hotel is it?? I drank quite a few beers in that place back in the day.

When I installed my oil pressure line, I put a tiny brass shutoff valve at the block. I've heard too many stories about them spring leaks at the worst possible time.

That would be the Medix Hotel! You should come up, you can pitch a tent at camp. I'm ready for those visors anyway!

And, I think I'm going to go back to an electric oil gauge, just need to get a new gauge. I bought a new sender a while back and never used it yet.

The good ole Medix Hotel. Used to go to my old boss's camp right up the road. You crossed the creek from the hotel, and went up the main road until it came to a big left bend. If you went straight on to a gravel road, it was a few hundred yards or so up there. Did a lot of fishing in the Little Medix (?). Loved that creek.

If the weather is nice, I may have to take a ride up there. That would be a nice ride in the Jeep. I'll let you know if I come up. I'll bring up the visors.

Hummmm, you pretty much just described exactly where my camp is. I bought it off a guy from Greensburg. He still owns the camp next door too. I'd s#!t if we're talking about the same guy!

I remember it was called Camp Betsy on the sign out in front. They were all from Elizabeth Pa.
I'd be surprised if the porcupines haven't eaten it to the ground by now. It seemed as they ate their way through everything on that cabin. Especially the porch railing where we always peed over while playing cards.
His name was Rich Wright. Bald headed guy, looked like Mr. Clean.

I re-read your previous post, and realized your further up the road than where I'm at. Sounds like his place is on Medix Grade Rd.

After running the Jeep for a few minutes yesterday, I went out to the garage this morning to find a huge puddle of water under the Jeep. I looked under it, and could see water dripping from the radiator. Great! And i just blew my monthly Jeep budget on new seats and the registration! Gonna have to take it out and see if I can solder it if I can find the hole.

Got some brand new furniture for the Jeep today. Got the front seats installed, but for some reason the passenger seat sits a little higher than the drivers seat, and I can't figure out why, and it's driving me nuts now! All I can think of is that I don't have sliders under the drivers side?

Would it be normal for only the drivers side seat to have a slider?

Yes. Passenger seat only flips forward to get to the back seat.
And a slider will lift the drivers seat about 1 inch.

Yep, my seats are the same way. Only the drivers has a slider and the passenger sits higher and much closer to the dash.

'84 CJ-17: 17" stretch, locked Toy axles, 5.5" lift, FI, AX15, D300 w/twin sticks, boatsides & junk.

Thanks! I think I might have a set of sliders hiding somewhere. If not, no big deal right now I guess.

I got what very well could be my last shipment of necessary parts coming today! Temp and fuel gauges, shifter boot and retainer pins for my tranny, and my CJ-7 emblem for on the back. After this weekend, I'll just be waiting for my registration plate to come before I can go cruising! I'm more excited than a fat kid at an all you can eat buffet!

How do you like the seats? I am hesitant to get them because i am not sure they withh be in the right position ex. Make me lean to far forward or back. Or are they comfortable?

Got the temp gauge working, but I'm concerned I'm running a little hot, or is that needle position normal for a 360? I stuck a thermometer in the radiator after I shut it off, and it was at 198 degrees.
