Hardtop Question

I took my hardtop off and I see where there was some "tape" stuck to the part of the top that fits on the tub. It is not electrical tape and it has just a touch of padding, maybe? I'm guessing it helped with squeeks, rubbing, scratching the paint, etc, etc. Anyway, most of this "tape" is long gone and I'd like to get something similar to replace it.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance for your help.

Taylor

It's a whole lot cheaper to go to a home improvement store (Lowes, etc) and get insulation/gasket tape. They make a round gasket I used for my top.

Some automotive stores sell it also. Truck topper insulating tape, and various other names. I think a roll is 25 feet.

Even Walmart sells it back in the home section.
