hardtop liftgate pics

hey guys, i recently bought a hardtop and full doors for my cj. im missing the liftgate frame though. i have the glass and all the hardware for the liftgate but the guy i bought it from threw out the frame due to rust. i need some detailed pictures of a factory steel frame so i can make one. need good pics of the seal area where it seals on the hardtop. generally pics from all angles and sides as well as maybe a few rough measurement. any help you guys can provide would be much appreciated..... jeep on!

Don't gimme any chitlins about the carpeting... I'm going to get a state inspection in the morning, and it's still too cold out for Bondo & fiberglass.

EDIT: It's also too cold to paint that plywood...

I just kept watching the jeep ads \

put ads in craigslist (use search tempest) to search as far as you want.

point to long story:

a guy in vermont had a old jeep with bad top but good rear hatch. sold it to me for $50 + shipping.

It worked out great

the plywood rear hatch that i had made looked like a piece of plywood that someone had tried to make a rear hatch out of.

good luck with the hunt!!!!!

check out the other thread I started about the hardtop liftgate. Pics are in there. Let me know what else you need, as I don't know if those are what you are looking for.
