will a hard top from a 1981 cj7 fit on my 1979 cj5? can i get a quick reply. please.

If I understand correctly the CJ7 tub is 10" longer than the CJ5 tub, so NO.

No. A CJ7 Top will NOT fit a CJ5.
84 CJ7 258, T5, D300, AMC 20, D30 EZ lockers F&R
33" TSL, 2.5"BDS lift, .5" shackle lift 1" body lift

What they said above. CJ7's are longer than CJ5's.
CJ5's have the "S" door cutouts, the CJ7's are square.

fenderwell headers - dual exahaust, side exit. Still mostly stock (for now).[/I]
