hard doors

does anyone have or know where i can get a schematic of hard door to reassemble? 84 cj-7 but door is 79 i think. thx

You do know the doors are different right? they will fit but the latching system is different, which effects the shell too.

If you do have the 79 doors, reassembly is easy as there are no linkages or rods to deal with. Do your doors have the paddle-type handle (later CJ's) or the lever-type (earlier doors). If it is for the earlier doors, I have the same ones on my YJ and could probably help you out.

I also have early style doors. I have a 84 hard top with 70's era doors on my 84 CJ7.
What are you looking for exactly?

1984 CJ7, 258..HEI..MC2100, T176/D300, D30/M20 lockers, lift, warn winch!

There should be a diagram in the fsm. If I get a chance tonight I'll lay out the pieces and snap a pic. I just took one apart. I'm having the hoops taken out of two older lever style doors and having them put in my paddle style doors.

Do you mean how the window crank/regulator fit inside the door, or how the actual window seals and what not go on?
