Grille Removal

I have an 81 CJ-5 and want to remove the chrome grill. How does it come off. Any input would be appreciated.

thanks

If you're talking about the chrome overlay, it should just be held on with some sheet metal screws. When I took mine off, I had to paint the grille. The overlay had mesed up the paint underneath pretty good.

The screws should be on the sides of the overlay and top if I am not mistaken.
