That's beautiful! What color is that paint called, and who makes it? I really like it and I'm looking for a similar one to do mine!

Just trying to make a suggestion to make your cooling system more efficient. Take it or leave it.

From the first post on the first page: "Body sprayed (by me) with Urethane Base/Clear from Kirker in Forest Moss Green Metallic."

Any updates on this good looking '5?

Also, have you been using it for DD duties at all?

No update. I drove it to work one week while waiting for a new fuel pump for my Scrambler and it did just great. Odometer shows just over 500 miles since the rebuild.

Pathfinder,

Strong work, man. I love the color.

Just curious...I know the roll bar was optional, but were fender flares also an option in 1974, as well? The factory brochure shows the CJ5 both ways.

Pretty sure only the Renegade came with fender flares in 74. Don't know if they were available for purchase on non-Renegades. They weren't the same flares as the later CJ flares, these were pretty much just a basic flat rubber extension. There were lots of aftermarket versions available by mail-order in the 70's also.

Crager wheels

Pathfinder,

I like those wheels and think you posted pictures of them on your CJ5 and painted white. Those wheels come powder coated form Crager. How did you paint them?
