Well it took me almost 2 years to get my CJ trail ready to where I wanted it.
I literally am in "If it breaks, fix it mode"... I just upgraded my Dana 30 with a superior shafts, superwinch hubs and an ARB... New hub assemblies and bearings hub to hub...

Can't wait to smoke test it...

Dang Fred! Everytime your Jeep is on here it's got something new... I think you're addicted. I'll help you beat this addiction with hypnosis... your eyes are getting heavy... send the Boggers to BESRK...

Dont do it!
I just witnessed a new jeep earn its stripes by a rookie driver..
omg...backed into trees, broke his tail lense..drove into a tree
and broke his headlight and hood corner..got stuck in the mud.
bottomed out all over...tilted sideways on the trail and broke every window on passenger side trying to get unstuck..because he DIDNT want to be
strapped out lol.
Poor sap...i'm sure he knows why he earned the nic name : dumb a s s...lol
Oh i forgot..hundreds of tree branch scratches to his shinney paint job..
HA HA i cant stop laffen.... sorry.. but during the last trail run, I about
cry laffed just watchen him trying to be a jeeper...
I dont know what these young guys have to prove....but it sure gets
costly for them...

Keep it up, progression is the way

It's only sheetmetal man....
and
They make new parts for these things EVERYDAY!
and
Real Jeeps are built, not bought!

Three quotes to remember when wheeling, words to live by in my opinion.

You know it's funny.. when I first started with BIG LIME, I intended to just do a quicky (cheap) buildup and then dog him out on the trail. I ended up going completely thru just about every component, spending about $20k+ and then shooting a decent paint job on him. However, during the whole buildup, I kept telling my buddies that I was still gonna run him thru the paces off road. Yeah it kinda hurt the first few pinstripes/scrapes... but once you get 'em... it makes it a whole lot easier to enjoy the rest of them!
