alrite, me and my friend each have cherokees but we want to pool our money and buy an old cj and and jack it up with big tires and do that kinda stuff. we were wondering your opinions on this jeep. any feedback would be greatly appreciated. http://www.jeep-classifieds.com/12567_jeep-ad.html
Doesn't look like a bad deal to me. The parts are worth that. It could be a major pita depending on what is wrong with it. Just wondering what "needs TLC" involves. If it will run and drive and 4wd works I say it is worth 800

While there could be a million things wrong with it, $800 for a running Laredo sounds like a great deal to me. Hop on that ASAP. If all it needs is a little TLC to be a real daily driver, loads of folks wil plop down a few grand for a decent CJ. If so, sell it for a profit and use the coin for a trail rig. Otherwise, use it as a trail rig for your self.
